Half Service – M40 Corridor
A deeper service for an upright piano that needs more than a routine tuning. Travel charged extra.
Service Description
For upright pianos only. I book 150 minutes. Includes a full tuning with any pitch correction your piano needs, and removal of dust and debris from inside the case, including under the strings. You'll also receive a written condition report. Older or corroded strings can break during tuning; if that happens, replacement strings are charged at £60 each. If your piano needs more than this, a Full Service or Piano Spa Day may suit it better. Price £180, plus a travel charge: the M40 corridor is outside my regular areas. Travel is from £30, depending on your postcode; check yours on my Enquire page before booking.
Cancellation Policy
Free cancellation or rescheduling up to 72 hours before your appointment. You can also cancel within 14 days of making your booking, and no late charge applies to a cancellation made in that period. After the 14-day cancellation period, cancellations with less than 72 hours' notice, or missed appointments, may be charged at 50% of the booked price: this covers reserved time and travel that usually cannot be refilled. Any such charge is made manually, not taken automatically. Where a deposit has been paid it counts towards this charge, and is refunded in full if you cancel with 72 hours' notice or more, or within the 14-day cancellation period. Your statutory cancellation rights are not affected.
